I could not agree more with the following post:
“Today is Memorial Day. Many of us see it as the start of summer, a chance to enjoy a weekend at the lake.. grilling out.. enjoying our friends and family. Please remember we owe much of the freedom we have in this country to our Military, past and present.

Here here! I agree – we need to take time to honor these folks that are giving their lives for our country and safety. My husband is retired military so I know first hand how much they need, deserve and love our appreciation! Thanks so much for writing that.
Retired or not, he IS still a hero in my eyes — Please say “THANK YOU” to him from my family — and add an extra hug from me if it’s ok with you for strangers to do that
